This Privacy Policy describes how Fixeets collects, uses, and discloses information, as well as the choices you have regarding this information.

Fixeets continuously strives to ensure this Privacy Policy is clear and understandable by organizing it into the following sections.

Identification

FIXEETS SAS (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the website https://fixeets.com and the Google Sheets add-on (Inventory Management with Sheets & Maintenance Management with Sheets).

This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices available to you regarding such data.

We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used herein have the same meanings as in our Terms of Use.

Definitions

Service

The Service refers to the website https://fixeets.com and the Google Sheets add-on (Inventory Management with Sheets) operated by FIXEETS SAS.

Personal Data

Personal Data means data about a living individual who can be identified from this data (or from this data combined with other information either in our possession or likely to come into our possession).

Usage Data

Usage Data is data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, duration of a page visit).

Data Controller

The Data Controller refers to the natural or legal person who (alone, jointly, or in collaboration with others) determines the purposes and means of processing personal data. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, we are the Data Controller of our users’ Personal Data. Regarding third-party personal data that may be included within the content or metadata of any document uploaded by the user, we act as a Data Processor, and the user acts as the Data Controller.

Data Processor (or Service Provider) means any natural or legal person who processes data on behalf of the Data Controller. We may employ the services of various service providers to process your data more efficiently.

Data Subject

A Data Subject is any living individual who is the subject of Personal Data.

Requested Account Permissions

Certain permissions to your account are necessary for the product to function properly. The Service will request permissions to access specific areas of your Google account. The granted permissions are exclusively used for the product’s operation, limited to the services offered. Below are the specific permissions required to access data, reasons why they are necessary, and how they are used:

View and manage your spreadsheets in Google Drive

View, edit, create, and delete your spreadsheets in Google Drive

This permission allows Fixeets to add, modify, and delete existing spreadsheets. The Service uses it exclusively to create an adapted working environment, assist users in modifying and adding data, and manage inventory.

Apps Script

Allow this application to run when you are not present

This permission is used exclusively to allow the product to automatically update your connections and process certain operations in the background.

Display and run third-party web content in prompts and sidebars of Google applications

This permission is required so that you can view the add-on user interface directly in the Google Sheets sidebar.

Connect to an external service

This permission allows Fixeets to create a network connection between the add-on and the Fixeets server.

Disclosure: Fixeets transfers data received from Google APIs to our internal database solely to ensure product functionality. Email addresses are transferred to our CRM tools for communication purposes. No other information is shared with third-party applications. We comply with Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.

Collection and Use of Information

We collect various types of information for multiple purposes to provide and improve our Service. The Service will neither transfer nor share data with third parties without your prior explicit consent. Furthermore, the Service will rectify any inaccurate or incomplete data and delete it when it is no longer necessary or relevant for its intended purposes.

Types and Use of Data Collected

Personal Data

While using our Service, we may request you to provide certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Data”). Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

FIXEETS SAS uses the collected data for various purposes:

Files and Spreadsheets Data

In order for the Service to provide you with the proposed functionalities, certain information related to your files and spreadsheets is collected. The Service does not store any copies of the content of your files or spreadsheets. Only the following data is collected:

Creation date, last modification date, file ID, timezone.

Email addresses and names of all file collaborators.

FIXEETS SAS uses the collected data to:

  • Log connections;

  • Execute automatic connection updates;

  • Identify the file being used;

  • Provide users with news, special offers, and general information about other goods, services, and events we offer;

  • Identify paid profiles.

We treat data confidentially and implement appropriate technical and administrative measures to adequately manage data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

Usage Data

We may also collect information on how the Service is accessed and used (“Usage Data”). This Usage Data may include information such as your computer’s IP address, browser type, browser version, pages of our Service you visit, date and time of your visit, time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.

Cookie Data Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our Service and store certain information. Cookies are files containing a small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device. FIXEETS SAS may process your personal data because: we need to perform a contract with you; you have given us permission to do so; the processing is in our legitimate interests and is not overridden by your rights; for payment processing purposes; to comply with the law.

Data Retention

FIXEETS SAS will retain your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy and for the duration applicable by law. We will retain and use your personal data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

FIXEETS SAS will also retain usage data for internal analysis purposes. Usage data is generally retained for a shorter period, except when this data is used to strengthen security or improve the functionality of our Service, or when we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer periods.

The security of your data is important to us, and we do not store any data contained in your files in our database. The rest of your file data never leaves your file storage system (such as Google Drive) and thus inherits the full security structure of your online file storage, ensuring it remains within the environment you have chosen. Additionally, all interactions between your file storage account and our Service occur via a secure HTTPS connection.

Your Data Protection Rights Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

FIXEETS SAS aims to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your personal data. We may use third-party Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the collected data to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize ads on its own advertising network.

You can opt out of making your activity on the Service available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. This add-on prevents Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js, and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visitor activity.

Behavioral Remarketing

FIXEETS SAS uses remarketing services to advertise to you on third-party websites after you visited our Service. We and our third-party vendors use cookies to inform, optimize, and serve ads based on your past visits to our Service.

Google Ads

Google Ads remarketing service is provided by Google Inc. You can opt out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize the Google Display Network ads by visiting the Google Ads Settings page: https://www.google.com/settings/ads. Payments

We may provide paid products and/or services within the Service. In such cases, we use third-party services for payment processing (e.g., payment processors). We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their privacy policy. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18 (“Children”). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and are aware that your Child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us at privacy@fixeets.com. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.

California Residents’ Rights

Fixeets does not share or disclose your personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. Therefore, California’s “Shine the Light” law (California Civil Code § 1798.83) does not apply to FIXEETS SAS.

If you are a California resident, California law grants you specific rights regarding your personal information, including the right to request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your personal information over the past 12 months; the right to request that we delete any personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions; and the right to opt-out of the “sale” of your personal information, as defined under California law.
