About

About this app

The Fixeets Inventory Android app puts the same Google Sheets data in your pocket, so checking stock, scanning a barcode, or logging a movement doesn't have to wait until you're back at a desk. Every update writes straight back to your Google Sheet immediately, and the rest of your team sees it right away. Same data, just with you wherever you are.

You sign in once with your Google account, and you stay signed in after that - it only asks again if you update the app. Nothing about your inventory data changes in between, since it lives in Google Sheets, not on the device, exactly as it would if you opened the add-on or the web app instead.

  • Check live stock levels and location data from your phone
  • Scan barcodes to log stock movements without manual entry
  • Receive low-stock alerts wherever you are
  • Stay in sync with your team's Google Sheets inventory data in real time
  • Works alongside the Google Sheets add-on - same data, mobile access
Setup

How to set up in minutes

No configuration required - follow these steps and you are ready to go.

  1. 1

Open Google Play Store on your Android device.

Make sure you're signed into the Play Store with your usual Google account.

  2. 2

    Search "Fixeets Inventory".

Tap the listing to open it.

  3. 3

    Tap Install.

The app downloads and installs in a few seconds, depending on your connection.

  4. 4

Sign in with your Google account.

Use the same account connected to your inventory data in Google Sheets.

  5. 5

    Allow camera access when prompted.

This is used only for barcode scanning - nothing else on the device is accessed.

  6. 6

Point the camera at a barcode to scan and log stock instantly.

The movement writes straight to your Google Sheet, visible to the rest of the team right away.

Privacy

Your data and permissions

The app requests camera access only to scan barcodes, and it uses your Google sign-in to read and write the same Sheet your team already shares. Fixeets does not keep a separate copy of your inventory data on its own servers - your Google Drive remains the single source of truth.

FAQ

Common questions about this platform

The Fixeets app requires Android 8.0 or later. Most Android devices from 2018 onward meet this requirement. Check the Play Store listing for the exact minimum version at time of download.

The app connects directly to your Google Sheets data via your Google account. Any update you log from the app - a stock movement, a work order update - is written directly to your Sheet and visible to the rest of your team immediately.

Yes - Fixeets is free to install on all platforms. A free plan is available with core features. Paid plans unlock additional capacity and team features. No credit card required to start.

The app requires an internet connection to sync with your Google Sheets data. Some recently viewed data may be briefly cached, but reliable use depends on connectivity. Plan field operations around available network access.

Yes. Each team member signs in with their own Google account. They all read from and write to the same shared Google Sheets data, so the team sees a consistent view in real time.

Fixeets uses Google sign-in across all platforms. A Google account (personal Gmail or Google Workspace) is required. This is what connects the app to your inventory data in Google Sheets.

Operate with confidence: your data in your control

Fixeets runs on top of Google Sheets and stores all data in your own Google Drive. We don't have access to your data, and we don't store it on any Fixeets servers.

Access is managed through Google authentication. Security is governed by your Google account settings and Google's own infrastructure standards.
