Machine Maintenance and Raw Material Tracking for Manufacturing

Manage machine maintenance and track raw material stock for manufacturing teams in Google Sheets with Fixeets. Reduce unplanned downtime.

InventoryMaintenance

Unplanned downtime is one of the most expensive problems in manufacturing, and a clear, shared maintenance schedule is one of the most effective ways to keep it down. Fixeets gives manufacturing teams a system in Google Sheets to run recurring maintenance for every machine on the floor, keep a service record anyone on the team can check, and track raw material stock per SKU so a shortfall doesn't stall a shift. Maintenance and inventory are interlinked, and on mobile and the web the team sees both in one place.

Your production line and your storeroom, finally in sync.

  • Machine maintenance scheduling.

Set recurring service tasks by date for each machine, assign them to the right technician, and track completion. Keep a clear, timestamped maintenance record anyone on the team can check.

  • Raw material visibility.

Track stock levels for every input material in one place. Know what you have, what's on order, and what you're about to run short on before the shift starts, not after.

  • Production continuity.

Close the gap between the storeroom and the production floor. Catch material shortfalls and maintenance gaps before they stall a shift or delay a customer order.

  • Safety-stock control.

Define safety-stock levels per SKU and get an alert before you drop below them. Head off the emergency purchases that come from blind spots in raw material levels.

Manufacturing teams typically have machine maintenance schedules and raw material tracking running within a day. Connect Google Workspace, import your current machine inventory and SKU list into the generated template, and add technicians and storeroom staff as editors so updates happen on the floor, not in a back office after the fact. Maintenance intervals and safety-stock levels can be tuned over the first few production cycles as real service and consumption data builds up. As the operation grows, the same structure extends to new machines or input materials without a new system to deploy.

FAQs

Can Fixeets handle maintenance scheduling for multiple machines and technicians?

Yes. Each machine gets its own recurring maintenance schedule and service history, and tasks can be assigned to specific technicians. Maintenance and your raw material stock are interlinked in Fixeets, so there's no separate CMMS license or login to manage on top of it.

Does Fixeets track finished goods or a bill of materials?

Not yet. Fixeets is built around raw material and component-level stock plus maintenance for each machine, rather than finished-goods warehousing or bill-of-materials production tracking, which is still in development. For outbound finished stock today, it pairs with a dedicated inventory setup.

Can I schedule machine maintenance by run hours instead of dates?

Recurring maintenance is scheduled by date. You can record run hours or cycle counts against a machine in a custom column for reference, but the recurring tasks themselves run on dates, which keeps the schedule simple across a mixed set of equipment.

How is this different from an ERP module for manufacturing?

An ERP module usually means a multi-month implementation, dedicated IT support, and a steep learning curve for the floor team. Fixeets runs inside Google Sheets, so most teams are tracking maintenance and material within a day, with no new interface for technicians and storeroom staff to learn.
