A personal Gmail account is enough - you do not need a paid Google Workspace subscription. The add-on installs from the Google Workspace Marketplace and runs inside Google Sheets on any Google account.
Maintenance Management with Sheets™
Google Workspace Add-on
Fixeets SAS
About this app
Fixeets Maintenance installs as a side panel inside Google Sheets, turning a spreadsheet your team already knows into a structured maintenance system. Assign work orders, schedule preventive checks, and log every intervention without leaving Sheets or learning new software. Setup takes a few minutes from the Google Workspace Marketplace.
The add-on opens as a side panel next to your existing sheet. The first time you run it, Fixeets sets up a few dedicated tabs inside that same spreadsheet on your behalf, for your asset list, work orders, and maintenance history, so you are not starting from a blank sheet. After that initial setup, you just open the add-on from Extensions whenever you come back, and your data is already there. A technician closing out a job and a manager reviewing the backlog are both looking at the same live data, just through different views.
- Create and assign work orders without leaving Google Sheets
- Schedule preventive maintenance so tasks do not fall through the gaps
- Build a complete maintenance log automatically over time
- Give your team a shared view of what is open, in progress, and done
- Works inside Google Workspace - no extra software, no migration
How to set up in minutes
No configuration required - follow these steps and you are ready to go.
- 1
Open Google Sheets in your browser.
Go to sheets.google.com and sign in with the Google account you want to use for maintenance.
- 2
Go to Extensions → Add-ons → Get add-ons.
This opens the Google Workspace Marketplace directly inside Sheets.
- 3
Search "Fixeets Maintenance" and click Install.
Select your account when prompted and confirm the install.
- 4
Grant the requested permissions.
These are standard for any Google Sheets add-on and only apply to files you choose to connect.
- 5
Open the add-on from Extensions and connect it to your asset sheet.
Follow the in-panel setup to create your first work order and maintenance schedule.
Your data and permissions
Fixeets does not store your maintenance data on external servers. Everything stays in your own Google Drive, in the same Sheet you already use. The add-on only uses the permissions you grant to create and manage files inside your Google Sheets environment, and you can revoke that access from your Google account settings at any time.
Common questions about this platform
Google Sheets add-ons are only available in the browser version of Google Sheets (desktop or mobile browser). The Google Sheets Android and iOS apps do not support add-ons. For mobile access, use the Fixeets mobile app instead.
Yes - Fixeets is free to install on all platforms. A free plan is available with core features. Paid plans unlock additional capacity and team features. No credit card required to start.
After installation, open any Google Sheets file, go to Extensions in the top menu, and you will see Fixeets listed there. Click it to open the side panel and start setup.
Your data stays in your Google Sheets. Uninstalling the add-on removes the Fixeets panel from Extensions but does not delete your spreadsheet data. You can reinstall at any time and reconnect to the same data.
Fixeets uses Google sign-in across all platforms. A Google account (personal Gmail or Google Workspace) is required. This is what connects the app to your maintenance data in Google Sheets.
Operate with confidence: your data in your control
Fixeets runs on top of Google Sheets and stores all data in your own Google Drive. We don't have access to your data, and we don't store it on any Fixeets servers.
Access is managed through Google authentication. Security is governed by your Google account settings and Google's own infrastructure standards.
